Simplex System
A Simplex System is recommended for non-critical installation and/or limited space available. One 100% pump installed in one sump. The pump is energized by the float switch assembly mounted on the sump cover and the motor starter mounted in the control panel.
Simplex System Consists of
- One (1) Swaby pump (Model and Size determined by Performance Requirements). Ductile Iron construction, one piece 416 stainless steel shaft, grease lubricated bronze bearings, with lubrication lines and pump mounted grease fittings.
- One (1) Motor, ODP Enclosure, (Hp. Phase, Voltage, determined by performance and specifications requirements)
- One (1) Float Switch assembly, Nema 1 with pedestal mounted float switch, stainless steel float rod, and adjustable float positioner.
- One (1) compression type high water alarm switch Nema 1 with signal to control panel.
- One (1) Steel Cover, (square, or round as determined by specifications requirements) with cutouts for one pump, one float switch assembly, manhole opening and vent connection.
- One (1) Basin, (round or rectangular as determined by specifications) Concrete or Fiberglass. Diameter and depth as determined by specification and performance requirements.
- One (1) Simplex Control Panel, (enclosure, voltage as determined by specifications) with the following:
One (1) Through door disconnect with interlock
One (1) Magnetic Starter with overload protection.
One (1) HOA (Hand-On-Auto) Selector Switch.
One (1) Motor Run Light
One (1) Control Transformer
One (1) Terminal Strip
One (1) High water level alarm with horn, light, silencing switch.
